Spoon are releasing three new tracks as an extended play. Memory Dust arrives June 13 via Matador.
Including two originals and a cover of Bo Diddley's "She's Fine, She's Mine," Memory Dust is the result of the band finishing songs meant for last year's Lucifer on the Sofa. After touring last year, Spoon returned to the songs with a new vigour while still retaining "a touch of Lucifer's character — rock 'n' roll music, played in real-time — but stretch out hypnotically," according to a press release.
Alongside the EP announcement, Spoon have shared its lead single "Sugar Babies." Listen to it below.
Following Memory Dust's release, the band will embark on a tour opening for Weezer on select North American dates.
