Souls of Mischief Return with New LP, World Tour

BY Josiah HughesPublished Oct 1, 2009

It's been a full decade since they released their last album, Focus, so it's nice to hear that legendary Californian rap crew Souls of Mischief are gearing up to release a new album. The Hieroglyphics-affiliated rappers have announced that the album is called Montezuma's Revenge and will be coming at us this fall.

The album boasts full production from Prince Paul, and will be dropping on their own Hiero Imperium imprint on November tenth. The crew are also planning a massive world tour, with U.S. dates now available and Canadian shows scheduled for next year.

In a press release [via Hip Hop DX], rapper Tajai explained: "It's a new album and a new beginning for us. Also, the fact that it truly is a world tour makes it exciting. We plan to hit Japan, Australia and New Zealand, as well as Canada and the rest of the U.S. next year. We even have a show in Bulgaria. That should be exciting!"
