Calgary's Sled Island Music & Arts Festival has announced its first wave of artists for its 2022 edition, which was guest curated by Los Angeles experimentalist Sudan Archives.
Princess Nokia, Alex Cameron, SASAMI (who just chatted with Exclaim! about her stellar sophomore record Squeeze), Zoon, OMBIIGIZI, Pantayo, Circuit des Yeux, Lavender Country, Uranium Club, Ghostkeeper, Little Snake, Gus Englorehorn, JOYFULTALK and many more will be performing at the festival, which runs from June 22 to 26.
Sudan Archive's curatorial picks include Teebs, Suzi Analogue, Ahya Simone, Sufyvn, AllCityJimmy, Queens D. Light, Swooty Mac, Kesswa and Cat 500.
