This Toronto-via-Guelph quartet always garner whoops of appreciation for certain instrumental sections of their dizzyingly cool arrangements. On this night, "Giving Up the Ghost" drew people into a stupor after leader Andrew Collins kept the rhythm guitar part going so Jordan Howard could fly through a ridiculously crazed guitar solo. Bassist Evan Gordon too is a top chef with one amazing line after the other and he locked in well with substitute drummer Jay Anderson, who lent the Skeletones Four a certain heft. There are few rock bands who can match the Skeletones Four for adventurousness and sheer skill and their new songs tonight suggest they're only improving with time.
