Canadian rap figure Shad is back with a new track. It's called "Out of Touch," and you can dive into it now.

The song features pHoenix Pagliacci, and it's our first taste of new Shad material set to be released in 2021 via Secret City Records.

"'Out of Touch' is basically the thesis statement for this upcoming collection," explained Shad in a statement. "It's about how our individual sense of wholeness can't be disentangled from our collective well-being. It's about the idea that we belong to each other."

You can hear "Out of Touch" over here.

Shad's most recent album was 2018's A Short Story About A War.

He is currently scheduled to play Toronto's City View Drive-in with Skratch Bastid and Haviah Mighty on May 22, though that show is dependent on Ontario public health orders.
