If the album art didn't convey this enough, Serenity play power metal. Power metal has always been the territory of the nerds, and no band that exemplifies that better then Serenity. Vocalist Dr. Georg Neuhauser is a history professor, and has used his vast knowledge to bless us with concept albums about Napoleon and Galileo for over two decades. The Last Knight's subject, Holy Roman Emperor Maximilian I, is more obscure, but as long as they keep writing songs like "Souls and Sins" and "Queen of Avalon," everything should be okay.
