With new drummer Grayson Nekrutman in tow after recently losing Eloy Casagrande to Slipknot, Sepultura have announced a North American leg of their 40th anniversary Celebrating Life Through Death farewell tour. The Brazilian thrash legends will come through for a pair of Canadian dates in Toronto and Montreal this fall.
"We are so excited to announce the North American concerts of the Celebrating Life Through Death farewell tour," guitarist Andreas Kisser shared in a statement. "We are having a blast doing these shows and celebrating 40 years of history, and now it is your turn! Happy to share the stage with our brothers from Obituary, Agnostic Front, and Claustrofobia! Do not miss this! See you all on the road!"
The North American leg kicks off on September 17 in Chicago, IL. The band's venture into Canada comes in the itinerary's latter half, with performances set to take place on October 9 at Toronto's Rebel and October 10 at L'Olympia in Montreal. From there, Sepultura return stateside to wrap the run on October 12 in New York, NY.
Tickets go on sale to the general public this Friday (June 7), with various presales getting underway tomorrow (June 5) at 11 a.m. ET. Check out the full schedule of North American dates below.
