Having gone five years without releasing an album, beloved Canuck songstress Sarah Harmer returned this year with Oh Little Fire. She won't be slowing down in 2011, booking a cross-Canada tour for January and recruiting Arts & Crafts songwriter Gentleman Reg to open.

The joint outing will began on January 12 in Victoria, BC. The two artists will then head east, as far as Thunder Bay, ON, playing ten shows in total, including a number of smaller BC cities and towns like Tofino, Nanaimo and Nelson.

Once this leg is over, Harmer will carry on solo, playing Guelph and Ottawa, as well as the Ann Arbor Folk Festival in Michigan. See dates below.

Before the 2011 tour begins, Harmer will play the Salvation Army Emergency Relief Benefit Show on December 21 in Kingston, ON. It will be the 16th annual benefit show by Harmer's mostly defunct old band, Weeping Tile.
