Rush guitarist Alex Lifeson is heeding the advice of health authorities the world over and is staying indoors amid the coronavirus pandemic. While some artists are jumping into the world of live streaming, Lifeson would rather you tell him what to watch during self-isolation.

On Sunday (March 15), Lifeson announced his plans to isolate through Rush's official band socials, writing that he had just returned from a vacation with his grandchildren.

"We are all self quarantining for 14 days," the guitarist wrote. "All travellers should. Looking forward to getting caught up Netflix!! Send your top viewing suggestions."

On Facebook, listeners jumped to recommend plenty of music documentaries, including recent ZZ Top film That Little Ol' Band from Texas. Of course, many others joked that Lifeson should revisit 2010's Rush: Beyond the Lighted Stage.

If Lifeson is by chance self-isolating in his native Canada, we've done up this list of everything streaming on Netflix Canada in March 2020. We also hope his time inside includes work on that long-awaited project with Marco Minnemann.

Drummer and lyricist of Rush, Neil Peart, passed away earlier this year following a battle with brain cancer. A memorial celebration is set to take place in St. Catharines, ON, this May.
