Despite dropping last September, Carly Rae Jepsen's breakout juggernaut "Call Me Maybe" continues to dominate the mainstream, and apparently the indie world, too, as evidenced by a new remix care of Vampire Weekend's Rostam Batmanglij.
His clubby redo of the playful, propositioning pop number, however, amps up the good vibes with a steady one-two kick, and mashes it together with Annie Lennox's classic 1992 baroque dance number "Walking on Broken Glass."
The remix pushes Jepsen's jubilant, puppy-love vocals to the forefront, but Lennox shows up in a pitch-shifted supporting role. You can hear the track down below.
As Batmanglij posted on his blog, "this one is strictly for the lulz."
