The Rolling Stones

"Bitch" (extended version)

BY Alex HudsonPublished May 4, 2015

The Rolling Stones are releasing a deluxe version of their album Sticky Fingers, and with that due out in stores on June 9 through Universal Music, the classic rock heroes have share an alternate take of their song "Bitch."

This version sounds fairly similar to the original take thanks to its blues rocking punchiness and blaring horn section. But while the version that appeared on the 1971 LP was 3:38 long, this one is 4:48, and the final passage consists of a massive jam with and fiery guitar solos and horns aplenty. Like the original version, this was recorded in October of 1970 at Mick Jagger's country home.

There is an accompanying video of sorts, as we see a spinning record and a fast-moving montage of images related to Sticky Fingers and the Rolling Stones.
