Rolling Stones Plot 'Zip Code' Tour, Reveal Plans for 'Sticky Fingers' Reissue

BY Sarah MurphyPublished Mar 31, 2015

Legendary rockers the Rolling Stones aren't showing signs of slowing down any time soon, having just announced a 15-city summer stadium tour and plans to reissue their classic album Sticky Fingers.

The Zip Code tour kicks off in San Diego on May 24 and will wrap up with a sole Canadian date at Festival D'Été de Québec in Quebec City on July 15. The tour's name is a play on the Andy Warhol-designed cover of the band's 1971 Sticky Fingers album, which centres on the zippered crotch of a pair of jeans.

That same album will be getting re-released in a variety of deluxe formats on May 25. It will include previously unreleased audio outtakes, as well as live recordings from London's Roundhouse in 1971.
