Madonna has unveiled a new collection of NFTs by digital artist Beeple — a video triptych titled "Mother of Technology," "Mother of Creation" and "Mother of Evolution" — and they are freaky as all hell.
The visual collection mainly concerns the artist's vulva and vagina, with "the idea of creation and motherhood" at the forefront of the project. In one video, Madge gives birth to a tree, while butterflies fly out of there in another. The final video shows Madonna giving birth to dozens of robot centipedes, because of course it does.
The singer revealed in a statement that "all works were conceived with a 3D scan" and that she "wanted to investigate the concept of creation, not only the way a child enters the world through a woman's vagina, but also the way an artist gives birth to creativity."
Sales of the NFTs open today through SuperRare, with all proceeds benefitting three charities, The Voices of Children Foundation, The City of Joy and Black Mama's Bail Out, which were picked by Madonna and Beeple to "further their missions in supporting mothers across the globe."
