RL Grime has announced a new album. The American producer and DJ will share PLAY on September 15 via his WeDidIt Records.

Following 2018's NOVA and its subsequent remix collections, PLAY is said to have its 21-song, yet-to-be-revealed tracklist divvied up into a trio of "experiences" representing a different side of the artist's sound.

The first of these, titled APEX, is said to be a listener's "front row ticket to the ultimate peak time RL festival experience; seamlessly mixed to make it the perfect adrenaline shot for any occasion."

The second part, dubbed GRID is described as collaborative, packed with "epic hooks and melodies" that make for "anthems you and your friends will be singing along to."

Last but not least is RUSH, a headphone-geared set of "deep house, future breaks and techno with a signature RL twist" characterized as "your personal soundtrack for the ultimate flow state."

Following a trailer for PLAY below, you can tap in to recent arrivals "BREACH," set to appear on APEX, and the 070 Shake-assisted "Pour Your Heart Out," which we imagine could be part of GRID.

PLAY is now available for pre-order as a set of four custom SD cards, and is also available to pre-save via DSPs. RL Grime has also announced North American performances behind the album, none of which are set for Canada.
