Riverfest Elora has unveiled the lineup for its 12th edition, including headliners Alessia Cara, the Glorious Sons and Mother Mother. The festival will take place at Elora's Bissell Park from August 19 to 21, and tickets are on sale now.
In addition to the three headliners, Riverfest 2022 will also host performances by a handful of recent JUNO-winners including spots by Jessia, Charmaine and Omega Mighty (credited on Haviah Mighty's Rap Album win).
Elsewhere, we'll get sets from Rheostatics, the Blue Stones, Loviet, Pineo & Loeb, Softcult, Marie-Gold, PONY, Safe as Milk, Nosbic & Flawless, the Strumbellas, Ria Mae, Dizzy, Kimmortal, the Planet Smashers, Rose Cousins, DijahSB, My Son the Hurricane, Nimkish, Command Sisters, Fellow Camper, Orson Wilds, Madison Galloway, Excuse Me., the Diner Mints, Amanda Lepore, Royal Castles, Wine Lips, Revive the Rose, Edwin "The Cat", Paul Cauthen, Bran Van 3000, the OBGMs, Ruby Waters, Justin Rutledge, B.A. Johnston, Luca Fogale, Anna Sofia, Aysanabee, Eekwol, Cots (presented by Kazoo! Fest), the Boo Radley Project, I, the Mountain and Uncle Harry & the Kickstands.
This year's event touts an almost entirely Canadian lineup, with Cauthen and Lepore being the only two American exceptions on the roster. Additionally, the 2022 edition of Riverfest has continued its pledge to Keychange, "an international gender equality campaign which encourages festivals, conferences and other music organizations to strive for a balanced gender representation in their programming, staffing and beyond."
Weekend passes — now at the price tier of $185 plus fees and taxes — as well as camping passes and single-day tickets are on sale now at Riverfest Elora's website.
