Last year, Rachel Bobbitt (a member of Exclaim!'s Class of 2024) dropped her The Half We Still Have EP and shared a cover of the Cranberries' “Dreams,” and today we get our first new tune of 2024 from Bobbitt.
Technically, “& What For” is actually an old tune — on the song’s Bandcamp page, Bobbitt writes that she started the brief, Grouper-esque demo back in 2020 before recently revisiting it.
“I made a demo today and put it on Bandcamp — I hope everyone is making it thru the winter okay,” Bobbitt wrote on Instagram.
