In January, producer Patrick Holland revealed he would be shelving his Project Pablo moniker to release music under his given name. Now, the Canadian artist has announced his first EP since making the switch.
The Montreal-based producer will release new EP Simstim on May 1 through his own Verdicchio Music Publishing.
A press release notes that the Simstim will see Holland "steer away from the lo-fi space" that his early releases occupied in favour of "indie-leaning electronic." The first song from the effort arrives today in "Sinking Feeling," which you can hear below.
"Sinking Feeling" follows previously shared singles "Up to You" and "Still," though neither of those tracks appears on the upcoming EP. Late last month, Holland also shared the seven-track release Reality Picture.
