It's going to be a very busy few months for Prefuse 73, as Guillermo Scott Herren has two EPs and an album coming out between April and July. We've already heard a track from the full-length, but now we can check out "You Are Now Poison" from the Forsyth Gardens EP.
This song is a slightly disorienting jumble of beats, swirling textures and blippy synths, with the rhythms sounding like they are perpetually stumbling over themselves. There are some moments of quiet calm, but this is mostly about anxious syncopation.
