Silly Kissers

Montreal darlings Silly Kissers closed the highly successful Arbutus Records showcase. At this point in the night, the sound glitches were ironed out and the crowd was fired up. Silly Kissers played a characteristically boisterous show, riling up the audience with favourites like "U Could Even Like Me," which harkened back to a MuchDance compilation in a way that most people only dream of. Their effervescent and infectious set had nearly everyone dancing and there was even some crowd surfing. Silly Kissers know how to put on a show, and it's impossible not to have a good time with them. In a nutshell, they sound and act the way a John Hughes movie feels — always a good thing.
