California's aptly named Film School finally made it to Montreal after some serious border troubles. Their show was colossally delayed, which is a touring band's nightmare. To make matters worse, they were slated to play a Sunday night and everyone's walking around in a battered haze because it's the last night of the festival. Bad news aside, the headliners made lemonade, took the stage like they didn't spend hours sweet-talking border officials and played just the kind of atmospheric shoegaze jams that every tired body wanted to hear.
