Earlier this year, American Football, in partnership with Polyvinyl, bought the infamous house on the cover of their self-titled debut, and now, they're putting it to good use.
The label that the band call home is hosting a pop-up shop inside the house this Saturday (October 28). Running from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., the sale will bring trick-or-treating, new music from Polyvinyl artists and more to 704 West High Street in Urbana, IL. If you bring a canned food donation, you'll get $5 off your purchase.
"We're hauling the goods across town for a special one-day pop-up," the label wrote on socials. "Stop by to browse a wide selection of vinyl, CDs, tapes and merch from your favourite Polyvinyl artists."
American Football and Polyvinyl purchased 704 West High Street in partnership with Chris Strong, Atiba Jefferson and Open House Contemporary. After the property went up for sale last fall, Polyvinyl "made a pact with our friends to protect the house from developers and likely demolition."
