He's also mapped out a North American tour

Jane's Addiction frontman Perry Farrell has revealed the details for his previously-teased new solo album. Kind Heaven is due out on June 7 via BMG.

The upcoming record was co-produced by Farrell and longtime David Bowie collaborator Tony Visconti. Also appearing on the album are guest contributions from Dhani Harrison (son of George Harrison), Elliot Easton (the Cars), Taylor Hawkins (Foo Fighters) and Farrell's wife Etty Lau Farrell.

According to a press release, the LP features back-and-forth vocals between the married couple, symphonic instrumentation, flourishes of hard guitar and electronic distortions, all while "grappling with life's eternal questions and engaging its biggest challenges."

In conjunction with City Winery, they'll bring shows to New York, Boston, Philadelphia, Washington, Nashville, Atlanta, Detroit and, finally, Toronto on June 25.
