Pavement are touring for the first time since 2010 — although currently the reunion is only hitting Europe.
The 2022 tour includes a previously announced Primavera appearance in the summer, followed by a run of shows later in the year. The classic lineup of Stephen Malkmus, Scott "Spiral Stairs" Kannberg, Mark Ibold, Bob Nastanovich and Steve West will be hitting the UK and Ireland in addition to mainland Europe.
There's no word as to whether Pavement will bring their tour to North America, but a press release promises that there are "more live dates and announcements to follow." The announcement continues, "More worldwide reunion dates? A celebration of one of the band's canonical and not-yet-reissued LPs? More news to follow…" They previously hinted that a reissue of 1999's Terror Twilight is in the works.
