Panda Bear Launching New Seven-Inch Series?

Now that Animal Collective are reportedly on hiatus, it's up to Panda Bear (aka Noah Lennox) to hit us up with our fix of atmospheric, psychedelia-inspired pop. Lucky for us, he's rising to the task: starting in July, Lennox will issue several seven-inch singles in anticipation of his upcoming full-length, Tomboy.

As Gorilla Vs. Bear points out, online retailer Amazon has listed a seven-inch single for the album's title track, to be released July 13. The single will be accompanied by B-side "Slow Motion."

As Amazon explains, "Paw Tracks is excited to present the first in a series of limited edition seven inch singles by Animal Collective's Panda Bear. There will be several limited singles total (on different labels), and each one will bring us closer and closer to the much anticipated release of the Tomboy full length."

The official site for the Paw Tracks label has yet to release any further details about the single series, including which other labels are set to participate.

As we previously reported, Tomboy is tentatively due for September release.
