The Pains of Being Pure At Heart

"Heart in Your Heartbreak"

BY Alex HudsonPublished Nov 3, 2010

Last month, we reported that Brooklyn indie pop favourites the Pains of the Being Pure at Heart had a new single, "Heart in Your Heartbreak," due out before the end of the year. It won't be hitting the streets until December 14 via Slumberland, but you can preview the poppy, fuzzed-out rocker below.

The track will reappear on the band's sophomore album, due out in March. Stereogum reports that the record will be called Belong. Like the rest of the album "Heart in Your Heartbreak" was produced by Flood (U2, the Jesus and Mary Chain, Depeche Mode) and mixed by Alan Moulder (My Bloody Valentine, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Interpol)

The band are about to set off on a West coast tour, beginning with a stop in Vancouver tomorrow night (November 4). Note that the show has been moved from its original location, Venue, to the Media Club.
