Osheaga 2013, City and Colour's New Album Tease and Gaza's Breakup in Our News Roundup

While much of the music world's attention may have been fixed on Austin this week, that doesn't mean there weren't plenty of stories to keep our news pages flowing. For a look at what went down besides SXSW, come dig into our news roundup.

First off, the big festival announcements just keep coming, with the latest being Montreal's always-anticipated Osheaga, which will bring the likes of the Cure, Phoenix, New Order and Kendrick Lamar to Parc Jean-Drapeau from August 2 to 4.

Also on the Canadian front, City and Colour teased his new LP via a new tune and album trailer, the Weeknd revealed a massive six-LP vinyl box set for Trilogy and Ryan Hemsworth dished some juicy details to Exclaim! about his debut album.

In other news, riot grrrl icon Kathleen Hanna revealed she's been suffering from Lyme disease, metal titans Gaza broke up, Jay-Z confirmed his role for The Great Gasby soundtrack, and film-scoring legend Ennio Morricone had some less than kind words for Quentin Tarantino.

Finally, the music world lost original Yes guitarist Peter Banks, as well as former Iron Maiden drummer Clive Burr.
