Eons ago, punk was brought to the jocks as the soundtrack to countless surfing videos, but OFF!'s new clip for "Cracked," off their recent self-titled LP, links hardcore to another extreme sport: sign-spinning.
The Whitey McConnaughy-directed clip finds two dudes on opposite sides of a busy road trying to outdo the other via a series of wild sign flips, pelvic grinds and rocket-riding theatrics. You could argue that the finale might be a pointed commentary on the futile nature of competition, but it's most likely just a funny way to cap the clip.
This is apparently the first part of a video trilogy that will include fellow OFF! tracks "I Got News for You" and "Borrow and Bomb."
