Night two of a three-night stand is always the best: a band know the terrain but they're not bored yet. Thus, the Strange Boys were in fine form for the second night of their Silver Dollar residency, playing fast, tight and saxophone-y. While the horn added a fun 1980s, E-Street element, the Austin band's dense brand of rock was still skiffly, guitar-driven and dirty enough for the sticky confines. Throughout, per capita spilled beer was way up, which, as you know, is a sure sign of a good gig.
