CMT Crossroads is still a thing, apparently! And a match made in "Rockstar" heaven this way comes: national treasures Nickelback and country-rock riser HARDY are teaming up for an episode of the crossover performance series.
The band and the singer-songwriter got together in Nashville earlier this month to record their instalment in the series. As per Rolling Stone, it will see frontman Chad Kroeger and HARDY trade verses on Nickelback's "Animals" and "Save Me," as well as HARDY tracks “Truck Bed” and “Give Heaven Some Hell.”
What's sure to be a hard-hitting episode full of rockstar moments airs April 6 at 8 p.m. ET on CMT as part of the network's CMT Music Awards weekend programming block. Hosted by Kelsea Ballerini, the awards show will air live from the Moody Theater in Austin, TX, on April 7 at 8 p.m. ET.
