Neil Young and My Morning Jacket frontman Jim James are putting their support behind U.S. Democratic nominee hopeful Bernie Sanders, while still practising social distancing. They will headline a digital rally for Sanders.

The concert, dubbed Bernie 2020 Digital Rally, will be livestreamed tomorrow (March 17) from 7 to 9 p.m. EDT via Sanders's official website.

The event takes place the same day that Arizona, Florida, Illinois and Ohio head to the polls for primaries.

James and the Free Nationals will perform, while Young and his wife Daryl Hannah will make appearances to speak at the e-rally.

Young and James join a growing group of artists who have endorsed Sanders, including Cardi B, Jack White, the Strokes, Public Enemy and Kim Gordon.
