Ahead of his upcoming tour with new band the chrome hearts, Neil Young has announced the previously teased record they've made together — previewed today by new single "Lets Roll Again."

Talkin to the Trees is due June 13 via The Other Shoe Productions / Reprise Records. It's Young's first album with the band — Spooner Oldham (organ), Micah Nelson (guitar), Corey McCormick (bass) and Anthony Logerfo (drums) — and includes the single they debuted with back in January, "Big Change." The singer-songwriter co-produced Talkin to the Trees, which was recorded at Rick Rubin's Shangri-La studio in Malibu, with Lou Adler.

As per press notes, the LP "feels like a full-on fresh-blooded leap forward as Young steps into his sixth decade in his creative odyssey filled with fearless twists and turns."

Seemingly not a direct successor to 2002's "Let's Roll" from Are You Passionate?, "Lets Roll Again" interpolates "This Land Is Your Land" to call out US car companies, quipping that China is "way ahead" on producing clean cars. Young also snipes at Elon Musk: "If you're a fascist, then get a Tesla / If it's electric, it doesn't matter."
