Negative Kelvin

Negative Kelvin

Canada is very good at producing bands that can write some of the most infectious power pop around. And on an initial listen, you'd think that Negative Kelvin could join that long list - the opening track, "Return Of The Fuzz," is a wonderfully catchy song that you can easily imagine crossing over to the mainstream. Unfortunately, the remainder of the album doesn't live up - the other 11 songs aren't bad, but they just lack that certain something that would elevate them to being utterly memorable. Most of the material here is slower-paced and lacks the tempo that makes the opening song so good.
