Today, Mother Mother return with eighth studio album Inside, and the band have also announced plans to take the effort on tour through Canada next year.
Following five hometown shows this December, the Vancouver outfit will spend their early 2022 touring the U.S., UK, Europe and Russia before returning to Canada for a run of spring dates in late April and early May.
After two shows in Victoria to close out April, Mother Mother will move eastward with stops in Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario and Quebec, capping the run with a date at Ottawa's National Arts Centre on May 20.
"We're so excited to tour in our beloved homeland of Canada, the place where we learned how to be a band," the band's Ryan Guldemond said in a statement. "These new songs are so dear to us, and we can't wait to share them in the way we love most: playing live. We have infinite gratitude for our fans and everyone who's supported us by attending our shows over the years. We don't take a moment on stage for granted, especially after this long hiatus we've all endured from the magic that is the concert experience. Long live live music!"
