Avant-garde popsmith Mirah recently returned to the world of solo recordings with Changing Light, and now she's unveiled plans to take the new material on the road.
In a statement about the new album, Mirah says, "Some big losses inspired many of the songs, but ultimately, it's a story of transfiguring anger into something beautiful, about how to find home again."
But before she finds home, she'll be traipsing across North America on a tour that begins in Portsmouth, NH, on September 27. The songstress will be joined by Death Vessel for majority of the tour.
Mirah is slated to make three Canadian stops, playing Montreal on September 29, Toronto on September 30 and bringing the string of live dates to a close in Vancouver on November 15.
In addition to the tour announcement, Mirah has shared a new video for "No Direction Home" off the new LP. Scroll past the show details to give it a watch.
