Michael B. Jordan is set to enter the ring in Steven Caple Jr.'s Creed II next month, and it's now been revealed that the film will feature a soundtrack curated by Mike WiLL Made-It.
As Variety reports, the producer will work with composer Ludwig Göransson and music supervisors Fam Rothstein and Jen Malone on the film. The site also notes that a complete tracklisting is expected to arrive through Interscope in the coming weeks.
"I approached the music by first watching Creed II and then creating a playlist of songs people could work out to, chill to, vibe to or to get them through any struggle which matched specific scenes in the movie," Mike WiLL said in a statement. "It's important to show the new generation that soundtracks can be just as exciting as traditional albums if put in the hands of the right curator. After people hear the music, I want them to say movie soundtracks are back."
Mike WiLL's involvement with Creed II comes in a calendar year that has seen Kendrick Lamar helm a soundtrack for Black Panther, while Future curated a soundtrack for Superfly.
