Members of My Chemical RomanceCoheed and Cambria, Thursday and Circa Survive have announced the formation of new supergroup L.S. Dunes.

Guitarist Frank Iero (My Chemical Romance), guitarist Travis Stever (Coheed and Cambria), vocalist Anthony Green (Circa Survive), bassist Tim Payne (Thursday), and drummer Tucker Rule (Thursday/Yellowcard) will deliver their debut album Past Lives on November 11 via Fantasy Records.

L.S. Dunes was formed amidst the uncertainty of the COVID-19 pandemic. "We never knew if we would ever get to play these songs together, in fact none of us lifelong musicians really knew if we'd ever be able to play music for a live audience ever again," Iero shared in a statement.

Rule added, "We wanted to do something where you can hear all our bands in it and yet, not have it sound like any one in particular. Our roots are punk rock and hardcore, and the vibe is hope for all the lost souls."

"Permanent Rebellion" is the first song to arrive from Past Lives, and Iero calls it a song about "taking back what is rightfully yours." You can hear it alongside a music video below.

L.S. Dunes will also take their debut on tour later this year. Following fall dates at Riot Fest in Chicago and California's Aftershock Festival, the band will play 10 dates in North America — including one at Toronto's Velvet Underground on November 22. Find their tour schedule below.

Past Lives was helmed by in-demand producer Will Yip. The album is now available for pre-order.
