Lord Dying have come to the crossroads that all talented heavy bands with longevity inevitably hit. Having established themselves as a bulldozing sludge band who can carve out monstrous riffs, the time has come for them to diversify or die. Mysterium Tremendum strips away the groundwork that Lord Dying had previously built their following on, and successfully recreate themselves in ways more nuanced and emotionally diverse.
