Madrid, Spain's Looking for an Answer were one of the first bands to take the Club Sonar stage on day three of MDF, and while their set was early, the grindcore band displayed fast, hair-whipping aggression. Mixing in death, thrash and punk with their grind, the Spanish band mostly performed tracks from their latest full-length, 2011's Eterno Treblinka, starting with the early Napalm Death-esque "Nacer. Consumir. Morir," as well as "Campo de Exterminio" and "Guerra Total." Showcasing extremely tight musicianship throughout their 35-minute set, Looking for an Answer have an intense punk/hardcore edge to them, particularly heard during "Terror Carnivoro," which features Cattle Decapitation-style lyrical sentiments. The group switched up the tempo near the end of their set with the ultra-high-speed "Christianislam," which was one hell of a thrashy head banger.
