Lizzo will release her long-awaited new single this Friday (August 13), and today, she revealed that "Rumors" wouldn't find her alone — rap megastar, professional provocateur and fellow Atlantic Records signee Cardi B will also appear on the single.
"GRAND RISING MUTHAFUCKASSSSS…. GUESS WHOS HOPPIN ON 'RUMORS' W/ ME?!?" Lizzo wrote in an Instagram post earlier today, alongside a video of her on FaceTime with Cardi B and joking "It's Harry Styles!"
"Rumors" will be Lizzo's first single since the release of her 2019 major label debut Cuz I Love You. The Grammy-winning album included 2016's "Good as Hell," 2017's "Truth Hurts" and 2019's "Juice."
Cardi B most recently appeared on former Fifth Harmony member Normani's single "Wild Side," which marked the "WAP" rapper's 16th Top 20 hit.
