Unsound Festival has released its first album, Intermission, a compilation of material commissioned by artists "responding to the pandemic year through sound and music."
Included in the tracklist is a collaborative piece titled "JSLOIPNHIE." It is credited to Jlin and SOPHIE, who recorded the song prior to her sudden death back in January.
Featuring contributions by Nicolas Jaar, Tim Hecker and Moor Mother, as well as "music and field recordings by some of today's most exciting electronic and experimental musicians" and more, Unsound has dedicated the Intermission compilation to SOPHIE's memory.
