Drake set a dangerous precedent when he let his son Adonis get in the booth for a verse on For All the Dogs. Now, other rappers, even on-and-off Drake haters like Kanye West, feel emboldened to do the same for their kids. And, while it's certainly a nice thing to do, it can also result in a throwaway track.
Kanye's daughter with Kim Kardashian, North West, has unveiled her verse on his forthcoming album Vultures that he co-created with Ty Dolla $ign and is expected to arrive tonight.
Along with Ty and Kanye, North jumped around on stage while her verse played:
"It's your bestie, Miss Miss Westie / Don't try to test me / It's gonna get messy."
Since Adonis's For All the Dogs verse translated into a complete song titled "My Man," it stands to reason that North could have a new track of her own on the way as well. She and Kanye also have the opportunity to give the people what they want ā a Verzuz-style cipher squaring off against Adonis and Drake.
