You can't blame Less Than Jake for wanting to record an EP of television songs; after all, covering 16 theme songs and product jingles is a fun exercise in nostalgia. But as fun as they may have been to record, it doesn't mean anyone is going to want to listen to them more than once or twice, at best. How often does one want to hear the theme song from Animaniacs or the jingles for Kit-Kat, Oscar Meyer or Pac Man cereal? The EP might be best suited for diehard fans, especially those who most enjoyed Less Than Jake back in the Pezcore days, when they covered the Laverne & Shirley theme the first time around. It's not all bad though. Their takes on the Malcolm in the Middle and That '70s Show themes are standouts. As for the rest, at least most of the songs are short.
