Less Than Jake

The film version of Grease and its multi-platinum selling soundtrack elicits two responses from people; they either recall it with a kitsch-y fondness or simply detest it. It seems many in the punk community actually like it, based on the number of times the songs are covered or referenced by too-cool punks rockers. Less Than Jake, who because of their recent gig as Bon Jovi's opening act have no right to ridicule anyone or anything, take their Grease fixation to new heights with this EP of eight songs from the movie. All the "hits" are there and given the LTJ punked-up ska treatment. It's surprisingly reverent and fun. Unless of course you hate Grease and everything it stands for.
