After laying low for over five years, Lenny Kravitz has announced his return to music with the upcoming album Blue Electric Light set to arrive on March 15 via Roxie Records.
The 12-song project is his first since 2018's Raise Vibration. Even though, by the time it comes out, it'll have been nearly 35 years and eight projects since his debut album Let Love Rule, Kravitz is still hitting milestones — Blue Electric Light will mark his first-ever double LP.
To accompany the announcement, Kravitz has shared the first single from the project "TK421."
Kravitz revealed in a press release that the track tips its hat to iconic movies of past decades in Boogie Nights and Star Wars with its disco beat and space blaster SFX.
He also shared the "TK421" music video directed by Tanu Muino today, and it's a thirst trap and a half. Let's just say, if you've ever wondered what Lenny Kravitz's butt looks like, you won't make it five seconds into the video before finding out.
