For someone who has watched their crappy VHS version over and over again, the thought of this was a bit of a godsend. And, indeed, this sounds incredible. Sure, all that self-indulgent fantasy shit is still here but it does look a lot better on DVD, especially Robert Plants scenario. Yet the real reason this is quite extraordinary is the sound quality, as all should find a high-end stereo system and a big screen and pump this sucker up, as the songs you know and love sound boomingly massive. Even better, you can get the DTS surround on the extras, which include performances of "Misty Mountain Hop and "The Ocean. Visually, this is still an interesting snapshot of the mastery of Zeppelins live performance, but the real reason this is essential for fans is the aural upgrade. Turn it up and revel because the songs here are definitely not the same.
