Lauryn Hill's star-studded Miseducation of Lauryn Hill 20th anniversary tour just got a little less star-studded. Nas and Santigold have been dropped from the list of guest performers at a number of dates.
The run of shows was slated to feature the likes of Dave Chappelle, M.I.A., A$AP Rocky, SZA, Big Boi and more. Nas and Santigold were also on the bill.
But in Portland on September 12, neither Nas nor Santigold performed, and no one was given prior notice.
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch now reports that Nas will no longer be performing in with Hill in St. Louis on October 5. Shabazz Palaces and Patoranking remain on the bill.
No reason was given for his removal from the upcoming show, though he did announce on Twitter that he would be joining Hill for dates in New Zealand next year.
Santigold, meanwhile, revealed on social media that she had been removed from the current tour due to "production issues."
She did not appear in Portland, Vancouver or Seattle this past week, and will not be performing in Phoenix or Denver in the coming weeks.
It's not the first hiccup in Hill's tour. She cancelled a string of concerts earlier this summer — also due to "production issues."
She did show up in Toronto, but fans were far from satisfied with the performance she gave.
See the remaining dates (which will hopefully at least include Hill herself) below.

Nope not sick. So sorry I wasn't able to perform for you all. Note I saw from @MsLaurynHill Mgmt team read... "Due to production issues, The Miseducation 20th Anniversary Tour is unable to accommodate Santigold's performance this evening"

I will no longer be performing on The Miseducation Of Lauryn Hill Tour at the following dates due to the tour organizers' decision to reduce the support. So sorry to disappoint my fans.
