It seems Anderson .Paak isn't the only artist who doesn't plan to have any posthumous music releases. Singer Lana Del Rey has also taken to social media to share that she'll be following his lead.
Earlier this week, .Paak revealed a new arm tattoo, which states that he won't be releasing any posthumous music in the event of his death. It reads: "When I'm gone, please don't release any posthumous albums or songs with my name attached. Those were just demos and never intended to be heard by the public."
Del Rey has now echoed the sentiment, reposting .Paak's photo on social media, and revealing that she has also added this request in her will. In the caption, she wrote: "Anderson 🌾❤️ it's in my will but it's also on his tattoo."
Let's hope neither artist will have to worry about posthumous releases in the near future, but we'll be sure to cherish the music they have now.
Del Rey is set to release her album Blue Banisters later this year, the follow-up to March's Chemtrails over the Country Club.
