Prince, Mac Miller, Pop Smoke and Tom Petty are just some of the late artists to have music released posthumously in recent past. It's not exactly public knowledge if that's what these musicians would have wanted for their art after their passing, which is why, it seems, Anderson .Paak is getting ahead of the game by wearing his on his sleeve.

The Silk Sonic member has just revealed a prominent new arm tattoo that asks for his unreleased music to stay that way in the event of his death. He shared a photo of his new ink on his Instagram stories [via NME].

"When I'm gone please don't release any posthumous albums or songs with my name attached," the script tattoo reads. "Those were just demos and never intended to be heard by the public."

Here's hoping we won't have to worry about posthumous releases from .Paak anytime soon, but at least we know now to treasure his music while he's still alive.
