Savannah, GA metal tyrants Kylesa have revealed the details of Static Tensions, their fourth studio album. Due out on March 17, the album will be available as a regular CD through the Prosthetic imprint, and on two vinyl options from the 20 Buck Spin label. The normal vinyl version come on a single LP with an eight-page, full-size booklet. Then there's the deluxe version: limited to 500 copies, the edition is a double-LP mastered at 45 rpm for a fuller sound. The coloured vinyl will come packaged in a foil-stamped slipcase and will include the eight-page booklet and a poster.
The band have also reissued their 2006 album, Time Will Fuse Its Worth, on Japanese label Red Cobalt Industries. The release comes with new artwork and packaging, and will coincide with their upcoming February journey to Japan. After that, the band will embark on a North American tour with Nachtmystium and the Haunted that includes Canadian stops in Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary, Winnipeg, Toronto and Montreal. First things first, however, the band will close out January with a trio of shows opening for crust punk legends Amebix.
