After signing with Verve Records last year, Kurt Vile has lifted the curtain on his first effort for the label. Vile's major label debut (watch my moves) will arrive April 15.

Following 2018's Bottle It In(watch my moves) was produced by Vile and Rob Schnapf, and recorded at the artist's home studio, OKV Central, in Mount Airy, PA.

The album features a cover of Bruce Springsteen's "Wages of Sin" among its 15 tracks, in addition to contributions from Cate Le Bon, Chastity Belt, Warpaint's Stella Mozgawa, and percussionist Sarah Jones.

Alongside the album news, Vile has shared first single "Like Exploding Stones," featuring Sun Ra Arkestra saxophonist James Stewart. It lands alongside a Sean Dunne-directed video you can watch below.

"When Waylon Jennings became an outlaw country artist, he liked to record at Hillbilly Central, which was Tompall Glaser's studio," Vile said in a statement. "OKV Central is my version of that in Mount Airy. I've come into my own here, and at the same time I'm getting back to my home-recording roots."

Vile shared EP Speed, Sound, Lonely KV (ep) in 2020. Last year, he co-produced and played on an album from Dinosaur Jr.
